Here is the incident from the 1981 Melbourne Test between India and Australia that Sunny Gavaskar surely wishes he forgets! Dennis Lilleee ( Yes, again!) wins an LBW appeal against the original Little Master, who proceeds to show his displeasure in a manner that players today won't even dream of. He orders the non-striker, Chetan Chauhan to walk off the pitch. Remember that this was way before Neutral umpires or Hawk Eye, but still not an incident that won Gavaskar many fans down under. 

The Aluminium Bat incident!

Way before the Ricky Pointing and the spiked Kookabura bat controversy, there was Dennis Lillee with his Aluminium Bat. Here is the episode during the Ashes series in the early 80s, when England skipper Mike Brearly complained about the Aluminium bat that Lillee was using which ended up with the umpires banning that bat.
